SHIPPING OVERVIEW

To provide accurate delivery estimates, we specify the time-frame it takes for your order to be processed before shipping. Please check each item’s stock status and ships-within time on the item page or in your shopping cart.

All orders are processed Monday through Friday. We aim to ship your items as quickly as possible, so your order may ship sooner than estimated, and you might receive multiple deliveries. Tracking information will be sent to the provided email address. You can track your order here.

TIMING

Order cut-off time:  2:00pm EST

Order Handling time:  1-2 business days

Order Transit time:  5-7 business days 

ITEM AVAILABILITY

Most of our products are “Stock Items.” On each item’s page, you’ll see the “Ships Within” time above the “Add to Cart” button. Some items may be labeled differently, indicating they are specialty products.

Here’s a breakdown of the product terms you might see:

  • Custom-Made:
    • The product will be fabricated to your exact specifications.
    • These products are final sale – they cannot be canceled or returned once the order is placed.
  • Made-to-Order:
    • Fabrication will begin once you place the order.
    • These products are final sale – they cannot be canceled or returned once the order is placed.
  • Special Order:
    • The product is not a stock item but can be ordered from the manufacturer. These items generally take longer to fulfill than stock items.
  • Backorder:
    • This product is currently unavailable but will be back in stock soon.

GROUND SHIPMENTS

Most ground shipments will be fulfilled through FedEx or UPS and generally do not require a signature. Delivery times once the order ships are as follows:

  • Standard: 5-7 business days
  • 3-Day: Delivery in 3 days, once the item ships
  • 2-Day: Delivery in 2 days, once the item ships
  • Next-Day: Delivery the next day

Please Note: This time-frame does not include the time required to process the order. Expedited shipments are delivered on weekdays only. Refunds are not available for expedited shipping delays due to factors outside of our control.

SHIPPING COSTS

We cover most shipping costs for deliveries to our customers. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Orders over $99: Ship FREE!
  • Orders under $99: Ship for a flat rate of $9.99
  • We do not ship internationally including Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico.
  • The customer is responsible for shipping both ways on orders returned as undeliverable by the shipping carrier.
  • Any delivery beyond standard curbside delivery is subject to availability and additional costs paid by the customer.
  • Shipping is not available to P.O. Boxes or Military APOs.

DELAYED ORDER INFORMATION

At Backyard Beats and Eats, we prioritize timely deliveries and strive to ensure all orders reach you as quickly as possible. However, certain unforeseen circumstances may cause delays. Here’s what to expect if your order is delayed:
Reasons for Delay
Orders may be delayed due to:
- High demand during peak seasons
- Shipping carrier delays
- Weather conditions
- Product availability issues
- Customs clearance (for international orders)
Communication and Updates
If your order is delayed:
- You will receive a notification via email or SMS, with an updated estimated delivery date.
- You can always track your order using the tracking link provided in your confirmation email.
What to Do if Your Order is Delayed

- We will investigate the issue and keep you informed every step of the way.
Compensation for Delayed Orders
We understand that delays can be frustrating. Depending on the circumstances, we may offer:

- Refunds or cancellations if the delay exceeds [specific time period].

GROUND SHIPPING ADDRESS CHANGES

Addresses can be updated at no additional cost before the order has shipped by contacting us here. After the order has shipped, we can request an address change, but the shipping carrier cannot guarantee the change.

CURBSIDE FREIGHT SHIPMENTS

Items too large or delicate for standard ground shipping require freight shipping. Freight carriers are trained to handle oversized and fragile items safely. Here’s what to expect:

  • Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number with an estimated delivery date to your local freight terminal.
  • The carrier will call you at your provided phone number to schedule a delivery appointment within the next 1-2 business days. Only weekday appointments are available. If you cannot receive the shipment within this timeframe, please contact us here.
  • Standard freight shipments are delivered curbside. The driver will place the item at the curb and is not authorized to move it further. Any additional delivery arrangements must be made before placing the order.
  • Upon delivery, you will need to inspect and sign for the shipment. Any visible damage to the shipment or products, as well as any missing items, must be noted on the delivery receipt. To file a claim for shipping damage, you must notify Backyard Beats and Eats within one (1) business day after delivery.

CURBSIDE FREIGHT ADDRESS CHANGES

Addresses can be updated at no additional cost before the order has shipped by contacting us here. Once the order has shipped, the freight carrier will charge an additional fee for updating the delivery address.

DAMAGED ITEMS

We strive to ensure your order arrives in excellent condition, but there may be rare occasions when items sustain damage during transit. Backyard Beats and Eats assumes responsibility for items damaged in shipping that are reported within the claim time listed below.

Freight/Signature Required Deliveries:

  • By signing for the delivery without noting any damage or missing items on the delivery receipt, you are accepting that your full order has arrived in excellent condition.
  • The order must be opened and inspected in the presence of the delivery driver.
  • Any damage or missing pieces must be noted on the delivery receipt.
  • Do not discard the damaged item(s) or original packaging.
  • For severe damage, note on the delivery receipt: “Refused due to damage” and contact us immediately.
  • Contact us at Sales@BackyardBeatsAndEats.com or call 855-648-3473 to report the damage within ONE business day, including delivery details and photos illustrating the damage.
  • Damaged items must be returned within 10 days. If not returned within this period, the original payment method will be charged.

Backyard Beats and Eats is not responsible for reimbursement of any labor costs or project delays due to damaged goods. We recommend waiting to schedule installation until after your order has arrived and been inspected.
