RETURNS PROCESS
We aim to provide you with a smooth and enjoyable shopping experience. If a product does not meet your expectations, we are here to assist you. Most unused items can be returned within 10 days of delivery.
- Submit your return request here within 10 days of delivery.
- You will receive an email confirming whether your return request has been accepted or denied within two business days.
- An itemized Return Authorization, return shipping labels, and detailed instructions will be emailed to you within two business days. From the date you receive this email, you will have 10 days to return the product.
- Once Backyard Beats and Eats receives and inspects the return, your refund will be processed within 10 business days.
- Items returned outside of this process or period will not be eligible for a refund.
Items not eligible for return include:
- Clearance items
- Custom-made and made-to-order products
- Items marked “non-returnable” in the item description
- Used items, or items that have been installed or assembled
- All items made by The Outdoor Plus company are NON-RETURNABLE
- Bundled kits sold at a discounted rate – the entire kit must be returned
REFUNDS
- Refunds will be processed back to the original form of payment. Most banks process refunds within 3-5 business days.
- For bank wire or check transactions, a refund check will be mailed. Refund checks are valid for 90 days from the date issued.
- If a product you have returned is ineligible for a refund, we will notify you as soon as possible.
CANCELLATIONS
Once an order has been submitted, we cannot guarantee cancellations. All orders are processed, packed, and shipped as quickly as possible. If you miss the cancellation period for your order, please let us know as soon as possible so we can assist with a return or exchange. Most items are eligible for cancellation; however, some items are specially fabricated for you and cannot be canceled once materials are ordered and fabrication begins. All sales are final for the following:
- Custom-made products
- Made-to-order products
EXCHANGES
If you wish to exchange your product for a similar item or a different product, we can assist with two options: Standard Exchange and Expedited Exchange. Please note that all standard return policies apply.
- Standard Exchange: Once you return the product you wish to exchange, we will apply the credit to your new order and begin processing it at that time.
- Expedited Exchange: If you need the new product shipped before your return is received, we will require a credit card to be placed on file. Please return the original item within 10 days to avoid additional charges.
RESTOCKING FEE & RETURN SHIPPING COSTS
There is a 25% restocking fee on all eligible returned items. Buyer is also responsible for shipping costs on eligible returned items.
WARRANTY PROCESS
If your product experiences a defect, our technical team will guide you through the manufacturer’s warranty process.
Here is what to expect:
Due to the technical nature of our products, troubleshooting is required by the manufacturer to process a warranty claim. Your installer will need to troubleshoot and diagnose the problem on-site while working with our technical team. If troubleshooting identifies a defective part, we will submit a warranty claim to the manufacturer on your behalf. We will ask you to review the terms before proceeding with the claim.
Once the claim is submitted, the manufacturer will review and either approve or deny it. If accepted, your warranty replacement part(s) will begin processing for shipment. If denied or if additional information is needed, we will notify you as soon as possible.
All warranties are processed as exchanges. You will receive a pre-paid return label for the defective part(s), which must be returned within 10 days of receiving the warranty replacement(s).
Warranty claims can take 1-4 weeks to process, depending on the season. We recommend testing your unit in late summer/early fall to ensure it’s in good working condition for the winter season.
DEFECTIVE ITEMS
We strive for excellence and stands by the products we sell. In the unlikely event you receive a defective product, our technical team will guide you through the manufacturer’s warranty process. Depending on the manufacturer’s procedure, part(s) will be sent to you to replace the faulty component, or you will return the part(s) to the manufacturer for repair. Once the product has been installed or used, it is no longer returnable, and the warranty process begins. We will facilitate the warranty request with the manufacturer and inform you of the claim's status. Some manufacturers require defective parts to be returned for quality control purposes.
Backyard Beats and Eats is not responsible for reimbursement of any labor costs or project delays due to defective goods. We recommend waiting to schedule installation until after your order has arrived and been inspected.

DAMAGE
We strive to ensure your order arrives in excellent condition, but there may be rare occasions when items sustain damage during transit. Backyard Beats and Eats assumes responsibility for items damaged in shipping that are reported within the claim time listed below.
Freight/Signature Required Deliveries:
- By signing for the delivery without noting any damage or missing items on the delivery receipt, you are accepting that your full order has arrived in excellent condition.
- The order must be opened and inspected in the presence of the delivery driver.
- Any damage or missing pieces must be noted on the delivery receipt.
- Do not discard the damaged item(s) or original packaging.
- For severe damage, note on the delivery receipt: “Refused due to damage” and contact us immediately.
- Contact us at Sales@BackyardBeatsAndEats.com or call 855-648-3473 to report the damage within ONE business day, including delivery details and photos illustrating the damage.
- Damaged items must be returned within 10 days. If not returned within this period, the original payment method will be charged.
